Vancouver Indian Wedding Photography | Wedding Photography Vancouver. Say what you will about social media, but time and time again we have met with people who have found love using app and websites. Love is love and the love between these two who met on Tinder was a special love just like all the others. From the amazingly romantic proposal when Jay asked Sarina to marry him while they were on a horse-drawn carriage, to the incredible wedding day that they shared together, it’s clear to see that these two have a strong love for each other.

Wedding Day

This wedding was unique in many ways yet from the outside may appear quite traditional. There are many beautiful traditional India celebrations during a wedding and capturing them is such a fun thing for us as photographers, but there was more to this wedding than meets the eye. In fact, Jay is actually half Canadian and half Bahamian. His father is from the beautiful islands and there were loads of family members there from literally all over the world!

For their wedding, the bride prepared for her big day at her parent’s home while Jay got ready with his groomsmen at a hotel. Since Jay isn’t Indian by heritage, it was so fun to watch the gentlemen get ready and mold into some of the Indian traditions with the Indian outfit and the sword for the first time. The first look between these two was at the ceremony. Sarina was such a stunning bride! To finish out the night after a beautiful ceremony, the couple did a photo session after in one of Surrey’s Parks and the reception was soon after that. The reception was fun and enjoyable with speeches, laughter, a fear loving tears and many memories. They danced the night away with dances from the traditional Indian ceremonies and we were so happy to capture their special day.
