Lighthouse Park Engagement Vancouver. After going to high school and graduating together, these two didn’t see the love until much later. Graduating in the same class in 2002, it took until 2014, when Marcela and Szabi reconnected online. Marcela saw something special in him and took the first move by messaging him first. From there, they got closer and closer. A few short years later, in August of 2016, they took a trip to Thailand together. Thailand was a first for both of them and Marcela thought the hotels and views were incredible. Little did she know there was something even more incredible waiting for her on the final day.

They had planned a couples massage on their last day in Thailand and Szabi had gotten the maid to work with him in making the best surprise happen. When they returned to the room, the maid, by his request had written, “Marcela will you marry me?” on the bed! She was surprised and so excited! Luckily for them. Szabi also planned well in advance and set up a camera to capture the whole thing on video. A memory they will cherish forever.

For their engagement Lighthouse Park Engagement Vancouver session, they chose the Light House Park. They requested somewhere that would have amazing scenery and beautiful views in summer or spring, knowing they wanted outdoor pictures. We love Lighthouse Park and have already photographed few sessions there. The weather cooperated perfectly and the sun was shining bright for their engagement session. We started their session in the woods for a little while capturing the sunshine through the treetops which seemed to make everything glow. From there, we moved out of the thick trees to the cliffs and even caught the sunset later in the evening.

A beautiful couple, a lovely story, and a great location made these images wonderful! We are grateful to capture their engagement story and can’t wait for their big day in April 2018!
